Will Life with Playstation require an update?

ill pick up SCIV 6 months from now, used for $35, not my type of game, but it looks very good and i can see myself getting into it, even if its not my type.

Lots of goodness here.

What I want and what I get are two different things.

I want:

Soul Calibur IV
Heavenly Sword (Platinum)
Resistance: Fall of Man (Platinum)
Life with PlayStation
PixelJunk eden

I'll probably "get" only Eden.

I'm thinking I should rent Soul Calibur first instead of a blind buy. If all they did was make it hi-def and didn't add any interesting modes or gameplay, I may ultimately pass or wait for cheap and used.

A lot of sequels on the PS3 seem to just add hi-def graphics and think I'll pay $60 bucks. (Virtua Fighter 5 for example). At least this one has online gameplay.

oh, platinum versus regular vanilla flavor? whats the difference? i just got heavenly (yes im late) recently for about 20 clams (thanks to the hot deals section)...

Definitely SoulCalibur IV. It's the first of Blockbuster games I want. But I'll also try to get Resistance, Ratchet & Clank, and Uncharted since I've never got it and it would be nice to delete that space-taking demo from my ps3's hd.

agreed they should just announce everything the day of release so we will be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed. If its really delayed they should have said so 2 to 3 days ago instead of day of and disappointing everyone.
