I'm wondering if they remove the Commentary, if that would drive prices a dollar or 2 on our movies?

Me personally, i've NEVER used the Commentary feature, never wanted to hear a bunch of people talk while watching a movie.

Vote away!
I do occassionally for my favorite movies, I like to learn trivia behind some of them.

I do most of the time. here are the disks (blu) that I have watched commentaries on

-Cloverfield
-The Mummy
-Resident Evil Apocalypse. (Damn Milla is an airhead)
-Superbad

wow... I didn't watch many Blu's with commentaries. I gotta watch some more! next up, Batman/Blade Runner

I tried out the commentary on The Bank job but damn was that boring.

and I watched the PiP on Batman Begins.

Good idea for a poll. I think it will help dispel the myth around here that nobody cares about commentaries or special features.

I listen to the commentary on movies that I'm really interested in and want to learn more about - certainly not every BD and DVD that I buy or rent, but on a solid number of them.

I agree wholeheartedly with the poster who gave props to Bey Logan for his commentaries - they're almost always fascinating and informative.

A good commentary is almost as enjoyable as watching the film itself.
A bad commentary is a dreadful experience.

I think if you took the time to enjoy a good one once in a while, you'd see value in the feature.

I don't think removing these tracks would adjust the purchase price of the blu-rays at all. Commentaries as such are all worked into the marketing budgets of films from the get-go these days.

I'm impressed!
In the poll, 'Yes' is ahead of 'No'.
I thought the exact opposite was going to happen!

What is a good movie with a great commentary?

I feel like getting this experience.

I own: 300, Cars, Deja Vu, Freedom Writers, Goodfellas, Gridiron Gang, Italian Job, Men In Black, Pearl Harbor, Phone Booth, Remember The Titans, Resident Evil: Apocolpyse, Resident Evil: Extincistion, Superbad, Training Day, Transporter 2, Troy, We Are Marshall.

And i'm guessing that the DVD and Blu Ray commentaries are the exact same?
