Lionsgate did it with the RAMBO box set. They put out a DVD set with all 4 movies in it, but BD got a box with the first 3 movies, and you had to buy the fourth one seperate. Sure it would be nice to have them all in one box, but as long as I have them, who cares?

In lending some credibility to this thread, I was a little annoyed in buying the Spider-Man trilogy which comes in three cases, only to find there is a box set with all three movies in one larger box. I prefer to save space and that smaller box set would have suited me fine.

This isn't a very helpful reply, but I just want to go on record saying I'm embarrassed by the number of *******s in this thread who criticized the OP and just generally tried to make him feel like an idiot. He's just making conversation for God's sake. This doesn't apply to all of the replies of, course, but there are quite a few people on here who just need to keep it to themselves if all they can do is be a dick.

I just chalk it up to the internet. The Internet provides anonymity. So people can feel free to just say whatever they want, be sarcastic/cynical/assholish all they want because...it's just the internet.

Yeah he stole a lot from Hicks. As for the "comics steal from comics" thing, I don't think that's as accepted as you may think. I thought that for a long time but apparantly there are comics (aside from a-hole Rogen) that take that pretty damn seriously.

UM.... i have all my dvds in my living room. NOT to show off, which is pretty lame if someone does do that.. but rather that they are all their next to my tv if i want to watch a movie... plus i had extra space to fill....
