I don't own a wii currently, i have a ps3 and 360. But i will say that for the price of alot of there games $49 new and $40-$30 for older titles, you get alot of gameplay out of them. The games are only 480p but the amount of time it takes to complete them is satisfying and they are fun to play when you have people over. Some games on the ps3/360 look amazing but you can easily beat them in 8 hours or less. As much as i like my ratchet and clank game i have to admit, i've been tempted to buy a wii just for super mario galaxy. Mario is the king of platforming imo. Nintendo will always have a special spot in my heart.

My kids KNOW damn well to put the strap on when playing with the wii(what did I just say )

anyway, they will put it on when playing the old school NES games I downloaded. That will never happen in my house.

I am having a blast playing mario kart online.

exactly, it doesnt even play DVDs so you know the designers never intended it to be used for extreme graphics. Its a family gaming machine, complete with photo sharing and numerous other nick nacks via the wii menu
