I hope they release on Blu-Ray soon. I loved all three movies and I actually liked the newer one more than the previous each time.

I will be curious to see if these titles are released on a BD-25 or a BD-50. I fear that IDENTITY and SUPREMACY will be on BD-25 which would mean some of the special features would get cut. I do think they'll release ULTIMATUM on a BD-50 as that's the newer film.

Watched Ultimatum last night but could hardly keep from falling asleep.

I think I like the first movie but parts 2 and 3 didn't work for me.

If all 3 come out with DTS HD MA then I will definitely be replacing my HD DVD copies.

correct me if I'm wrong, but the theatrical version of Identity hasn't been available on DVD for quite some time (since Supremecy came out I think). I really hope that we get the theatrical version on Blu or both since Universal seems keen on doing seemless branching. Anyone know which version is on HD-DVD?

Not a chance in hell. These are going to be top releases for Universal. This ain't no "Baby Mama."

Ok you're wrong. The theatrical edition has been available on ALL DVD releases and the HD DVD release.

No chance, these are the best films to come out of Universal in years. No WAY they screw them up.

Same for me. Even if they don't have DTS HD MA I still will probably replace my HD-DVD copies

Bill Hunt has his post up today but mentions the November 4th date being a DVD only re-release, along with a new Waterworld: Extended Cut.

The Bourne movies have YET to be announced for Blu-ray. That doesn't mean they're not coming...

I know, I'm sure they are coming, it just doesn't look like it will be Nov. 4th. Why would they announce a DVD re-release and not announce the blu-ray? I still think they will hold off on these for another year or so. Universal has made lots of announcements over the last couple of months and I just don't think they would dump everything out the first six months they are producing blu-rays. The Bourne trilogy is arguably their biggest franchise, at least of this decade, so I think would want to make a big deal out of it. Of course, that's just my opinion.

There has been multiple instances of studios announcing DVDs before they announce a Blu-ray release. Granted, they have a tendency to do it all at the same time, but not always.

We KNOW that Universal is planning the Bourne trilogy for this year, BUT they could always postpone them. I personally expect to be watching them this year however!

I do hope so. Current blu-ray disciples aren't like the normal DVD buyer in that we'll buy anything at any time regardless of promotion or marketing push. This is an insta-buy for me to replace the current DVDs. BTW, I never bought Supremacy because Uni went Unich on us.
