I'll be picking up Bullitt for sure. Great film that I never got around to buying on DVD so I don't even have to double-dip for it.

He said Reign of Fire is on that list for the Anchorage Best Buy. I will just have to order that one I guess. While I was talking to him, he gave me a BD demo of the new Nine Inch Nails disc. It's only 5 songs but looks pretty good. I probably won't buy that one though as I don't usually watch music releases.

I had to order this one also. Neither the Best Buy or Circuit City was carrying this one. I checked in for over a week and nothing. Does anyone know of any other major chains that carry blu-ray. Our local wal-marts are pitiful on selections (one doesn't even carry any) The best buy is usually pretty good but then something like the reign of fire problem happens and you never know with Circuit city. Ive basically started ordering them but every once in a while I like to walk in and pick up a movie.

Oh none of those titles for me this week either. Might pick up some older titles though, and F1 for ps3 is due out.

Stranger Than Fiction was a great film that no one should pass on. Plus it's getting great reviews for the PQ.

I cannot agree with that. I had "The Prestige" in my mailbox today. It shipped out last Tuesday. I always receive my stuff on the Monday following the Tuesday release dates. Every once in a while it is even the Friday of the same week. So I am quite satisfied with their shipping speed.
But I also have to pay attention to the price. Amazon offers the best prices and I check it regularly. The Presitige was 23.95 and they deduct 10 % HD discount, so I paid only 21.55. This compares very favorably to what other only retailers are charging.

"The Getaway" and "Stranger than Fiction" pour moi. I'm wavering on whether to rent "Bullitt" or buy it during next week's brief lull in releases. I liked it, but not nearly as much as "Getaway".
