PQ: Gotta be Rata or Cars but those dont seem fair

AQ:No question its 3:10 to Yuma. Uncompressed just really stands out compared to the other lossless formats and this movie is in 7.1. If you have the capability to play PCM get this movie. The detail in the sound is truly amazing

I was joking.
My honest picks would be:

Apocalypto
I, Robot
No Country For Old Men
3:10 To Yuma
Hellboy
The Fifth Element (Remastered)

Even though my Blu-ray library is pretty limited at the moment, I must say I was pretty impressed with the picture quality of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. I didn't see any noise or obnoxious filmgrain and both the taped as well as CGI sequences look great.

For Audio Quality I have had Cloverfield on there for a very long time. Now I have to say that Transformers is on the same level as Cloverfield if not 1 tiny notch above it. I say only a tiny as there are more scenes in it to show off your sound system compared to Cloverfield. Its just on the same quality level they are the same, but Transformers has more audio content.

For picture quality I'm going with The Fifth Element as I think for a catalog release, it looks a lot better than a lot of new releases.

nobody mentioned Pearl Harbor? I am only using Logitech Z-5500 as my 5.1 surround setup and it really blew me away during the intense air attack.

The directional and bass sound is just fantastic....Don't anyone agrees? I am only listening to 5.1 Dolby, so imagine hearing lossless sound...

The picture quality is really good too.

Btw I am waiting for my Transformers to arrive this week, so I have high expectation for this sound quality.

For picture I would have to say Pirates 3 and for audio it is definitely 3:10 to Yuma. Every time I watch that movie I am blown away by the audio. As far as Cloverfield goes, I love the PQ and AQ and the moving camera doesn't bother me one bit. I think that whoever said that there is a link between fps's and tolerating the camera work might be on to something. I play first person shooters and I don't have a problem with it, but my brother can't stand it and he doesn't play first person shooters, while my other brother who has played fps's since childhood also has no problem with it. Good theory, I never would have thought of that.

PQ:
Ratatouille
Pirates of the Caribbean 3
Fantastic Four 2

AQ:
Mr. Brooks (The most realistic gun sound ever)
Kill Bills 1
The Fall
Ladder 49
House of Flying Dagger
Pan's Labyrinth

AQ (I do not own):
Flight of the Phoenix (The Crash sequence is amazingly scary)
U571

New user, new owner of Blu-Ray player. Bought Transformers, but haven't watched it yet. Quick question. I have 5.1 surround. To best enjoy the high quality audio of Transformers, et al, should I upgrade to 7.1?
