I'm going to come out with what projector I have. Don't make fun, It provides good PQ. Not as good as some of yours but for me its perfect. For now. I have the Epson moviemate 72. Yeah, the moviemate title makes it sound childish I know. But it was a gift and I'm to cheap to buy another one. It's picture quality is very good and there is huge difference in PQ from when I watch DVD's and Blu Ray's. The only problem is the black level's, but you would have to be paying attention to notice. I'm typing on a 1080p moniter from samsung with a 10,000:1 Dynamic range and I watch a lot of HD trailers on it. I can tell the diffrence between the two, but it's nothing to write home about. Anyway, now you know what Spartan54 has.

I think you'll agree that 720 is a MASSIVE improvement over standard DVD, 720p at this price and quality is insane! .... does make you wonder how much better it could look if the projector was 1080p native!

* screen size is 92" diag.
Awesome screen shot, I hope my incoming Sharp DT-510 looks as good as that.

I think too many people critique every inch of the image while it's frozen, and compare various black levels, pixels, etc when comparing say... a 42" 1080p plasma with a 120" 720p Front Projection setup..... say what you want about the 42" 1080p plasma (I think the black levels etc are awesome too) but there's just something about having that GIGANTIC image when watching movies.... and really for me, the PQ looks every bit as good as my Aquos, so I'm officially ALWAYS going to have a FP setup no matter what sacrifices to windows, guest rooms, or whatever it may be..... Once you see that massive screen, it's hard to go back to a little t.v.

I also own a Sanyo PLV-Z5 720p and am quite happy for almost two years now!My brother has a 65" Diamond series Mitsubishi RPTV and even he says the black levels are fine on mine. He was quite critical of it at first but my room is painted dark gray even the ceiling and I have black velvet curtains. Light control is a must for FP set-ups as I am sure its been mentioned before.

Even my brother is asking me all kinds of questions about projectors.

I will always unless I become homeless have a projector from this day forward. I want a 1080p set-up but until I can get a JVC DLA-RS2 or similar, I will be quite content to keep watching my 720p on a 100" screen. I will likely replace my existing screen with a better one first since I am using a cheap elite manual pull down. I know shame on me but I have been quite happy so I'm in no hurry.
