I voted Pixar, but I sure considered it a hard choice.

![]() I must say that I am both pleased and surprised that everybody goes for Pixar. Last edited by quexos; 09-15-2008 at 03:40 PM. |

This thread shouldn't die too soon. I'm sure there are many more people out there that have a preference for one studio or another ...

I'm not suprised that I'm the only person who picked Dreamworks. I have disliked most of the Pixar films that I have seen and I haven't bothered to see some of the other films from other CGI studios, like the first Ice Age.

Kind of obvious.
Though DreamWorks has been doing some good stuff (and some crap too) recently. We enjoyed Monsters vs Aliens, Kung Fu Panda, and How to Train your Dragon. My whole family is geeked for Kung Fu Panda 2. |

In terms of animation quality, Pixar is unmatched (although I hear ILM is very good, with Rango being its first foray into the medium). In terms of storytelling, I also favor Pixar, but I can see how people—okay, one person—might find Dreamworks more appealing.
