I used to play Diablo 2 like a fiend. I never had good gear until one day I decided to D/L an MF bot... the next morning I woke up with 3 windforce bows in my stash. Then it was much funner in cow levels and pk rooms.

Anyone remember Palapk/1 and the insane trade channel? Haha

D3 is a definite buy for me. Been waiting for it for tooooo long. However, Titan Quest is a good D2 rip-off with obviously better graphics, and it continues to tide me over.

o the memories of playing d2. lot of hacking though. i remember when everyone had hex stones and it was hard to pk lol

D3 is the only thing that will stop my D2 addiction.

But necro bumping this thread is a good thing. We should be hearing more on the actual release over the next couple months (even if the release is a year or more away).

I haven't bothered to look up D3 info for a long time as I'm trying to be spoiler free as possible. They have added some more screen shots since I last looked, and added a 10 year anniversary for Diablo 2. Nice, now we just need a release date, and 1 more class. Blizzcon isn't held until late October, that might be the best time to get additional info.

I'm not sure how thrilled I am of that last character..I still think I'll be playing the Barbarian or Wizard.

I'd buy DIABLO III along with WarCraft IV. Still have yet to play StarCraft II.

i might pick it up so long as they don't try to charge an insane amount for it.....like $200.

i'd pay $100, maybe even $125 considering everything that you get.

and that soulstone with the d2 and d2:lod is just awesome.

also, that skull is just wicked.
