Montreal in December

I remember going to Montreal once when i was about 12 or so and going to this church with a outdoor escalator that went up a huge hill were the church was located. Ok silver does this place exist or has years of beer abuse clouded my memory?

I am guessing you are thinking of St joseph's Oratory, no escalator outside, but there are some inside and it is on the montain.

Kilo has some good desserts (as does rockaberry), but my favourite sandwich place in Montreal is Santropol - on the plateau.

La queue de cheval is one of the most prestigious restaurant in Montreal... You might want to make reservations if you decide to go!

How could i forgert Rockaberry!!! Juliette et chocolat is beyond epic as well.
