Considering that Once Upon a Time in Mexico is going to be released on BD, then Desperado and El Mariachi most likely are going to be released on Blu as well. People will want to have the complete Trilogy on Hi-Def.

The combination Robert Rodríguez-Antonio Banderas-Salma Hayek (Plus Tarantino input, Danny Trejo, Cheech Marin, Johnny Depp, Enrique Iglesias, etc) is too attractive even if the movies are not that good.

From the list I would only get Blood In Blood Out.

I would like "Stay" to be released.

I have to second that. That's a pretty lackluster list of movies. The only one that struck my interest was "It" and since that was a 90's TV miniseries, I can't imagine it would look very good on Blu (especially the cheesy effects at the end).

Desperado with 1080p and 7.1.

The Mighty Ducks, Mortal Kombat, It, Basketball and The Addams Family would be welcome additions in my opinion.

Scottie doesn't know, that Fiona and me....

That song will always stay with me the rest of my days.

But actually I love most the movies on that list. I'd buy most if they were currently available.

In a very general sense: they all suck and there are a ton of movies far more worthy of Blu treatment.

Which means ALL of them will be on Blu before Citizen Kane, Big Lebowski, Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, Star Wars, E.T. or any other desperately asked for titles from peoples wish lists.

Yeah, you heard it here first. Mighty Ducks 2 will be released before Gone with the Wind. Howard the Duck before the Wizard of Oz. Ishtar before Apocalypse Now.

Seems to be...

The Doc

Well I dont think most of those listed will make it to Blu, but I hope they do. If the studios can give these titles an above average transfer, upgrade in the audio dept., and maybe throw in some bonus material while pricing them in the $16 range. I believe the mass majority would make the purchase, which would give the studio a profit even at that price point, due to the large volume of sales. The key to sales volume here is pricing. Because regardless of transfer quality, etc., etc., only a handful of people will buy these titles at $20, let alone $25 - $30. Keep the catalog titles coming, just take the time to do them right. Don't cut corners and I'll keep putting my money in the basket!

I was watching Mortal Kombat on TBS the other night thinking it would be great to see a blu release. Also, I'd love to see Jurassic Park get released!
