MacGyver is the only one out of those that stands a chance of an HD release down the road

MacGyver I hope so and Wings has sold well on regular DvD. Though this is why I kept the standard dvds especially Forever Knight. It is a cult show but not with the pull of Star Trek. But one can always dream :-)

I need Malcolm in the Middle. The season 1 DVD came out in like 2002. Where the @#$% are the rest of them.

I think more tv shows will arrive once Blu gets more popular. This Fall and winter pushing into the christmas season will help. Next year there be more Blu-tv for all of us to enjoy. I agree with an earlier post, Lost looks amazing on Blu-Ray. I feel I am on the Island myself.

I heard that there was some issues with rights to the music on the show, resulting in the rest of the series not getting released.

You gotta love how music rights can really screw things up!

The only series I own on blu-ray is the second season of Heroes. But there are so many other great shows out there that need to see the light of blu!

- 24. If they released the entire show on BD, I would be the first to buy them. Perhaps not season six, but the rest of it

- Lost. I have the first three seasons on DVD, and have been wanting to double-dip the third season but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll probably wait until season four is available

- The X-Files. This one is more likely going to be put on hold for a while, since I'm sure they want to put current shows on BD first. But the first few seasons still look like crap on DVD so I'm hoping they'll fix it soon.

That's about it for now. I just got hooked onto Heroes and Fringe this fall, so I'm not sure about getting into anything else right now, even though my friends are pushing me towards The Sopranos, House, and Rescue Me.

Me thinks you should go ahead and rent seasons 1-2 of Lost. Its such a freaking awesome show that you'll soon forget that its not in HD. Or maybe you'll get a headache from the DNR and end up vomiting on your sofa in 480p. Its up to you!
