About an hour of it is just fluff story really. The Jennifer Hudson character is 100% unnecessary. It could have been 90 mins and been a much better movie.

From the few seconds I saw of the movie in bits and pieces last night the whole movie was 100% unnecessary.

This movie could of, and should of, been part of the TV series. IMHO someone just wanted to enhance their bank account.

Yes, she does.

If you've ever stumbled onto the show on tv even for a few minutes you'll get an idea as to the quality of the film. It' just like an extended version of one episode. Probably would've been better suited as a season finale or reunion special, but they made more money this way.

I bought my wife the standard DVD steelbook from Best Buy. I told her she can watch anytime she wants...as long as I'm not home and it's nowhere near my HD set-up.

I seriously hate that F'in show and blame it for making younger women think it's OK to be a drunken slut obsessed with status and fashion. If you disagree, that's your opinion - but that is how I feel.

And this isn't being sexist. There's a hell of a lot better shows out there for women that are pro-feminist. Older shows like DESIGNING WOMEN, MAUDE, THE GOLDEN GIRLS, and others were made a long time ago and promoted that women were smart and independent individuals who didn't need a man in order to live. SATC just says "All we need is our girlfriends. And this martini. And this Prada bag. And this Gucci purse. And this 20-years-my-junior dude's d*ck. And this martini. And this martini..." But from being around the block a few times in relationships and life, I don't think any guy over the age of 27 or so can't say that he hasn't noticed a trend of SATC wannabe women popping up more frequently than Starbucks. If they're in the 20's or older, that's one thing (and still equally pathetic). But these junior high girls who obsessed with designer items and status make me want to vomit. You can thank SATC and MTV for that.

My girlfriend loved it, so I bought it and watched it with her. Aside from a few estrogen filled scenes it wasn't too bad. Nothing I would want to watch on my own, but after all of the BDs I've made my girlfriend watch with me I felt I owed it to her.

My thoughts exactly... i was like why is she in this?!!? And why is it so long when the styory is told in 90 minutes easily.

After the first 45 miniutes I was like... so what are they going tdo for the next 1:45?!??! ahaha

Not bad overallthough... but would have been alot better without the American 'Idol' and the long run time.

I saw it with my wife and I didn't think the movie was too bad. Would of been a lot better without Jennifer Hudson's character. Why would it take an assistant to organize a tiny New York apartment almost a week? I would of fired her after the first week if she was mine.

Overall, they did a good job showing the characters' growth over the years and what they've become as of today.
