They did it again: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ima...506188&sr=1-51

I don't get it, is there a "Not-So Family Fun Edition". What makes this edition of the movie "Family Fun".

The Rambo are the same as the Ultimate Series released a few years ago on DVD. They look OK. Rambo IV has a great cover though.

I agree that Hancock is pretty lame.

Jezus, you guys sure complain a lot. I've never heard more complaining in a forum in my entire life. You argue to the ends of the earth about indistinguishable audio encoding and now you debate on ugly cover art. Next thing you know, we'll be discussing the ugliest font used on the backcover on cases, and then which Blu-Ray has the fewest lines in their barcode.

I dont see it as complaining, just expressing an opinion , were not gunna yell at studio's to make us happy with our "cover art prefer's'" and all , not complain about it, some may over audio and picture issues, that's a little different, it's a blu-ray disc, push it limits, dont jus half ass it... but were jus givin opinions on bad cover art, we may not like it, but we deal..and it's all good

It has not been released yet, but if it's anything like the DVD I'm going to say the remake for Day of the Dead is going to have the worst cover ever for a Blu-ray...

EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw the cover and they did change it from the DVD version... But it one does get my vote for Most Creepiest...

They're the same as the bare bones DVD releases. Don't understand why they couldn't come up with something better looking, unless their intent is to double-dip - new features and new cover art work...

the worst in my case has to be Hancock. First of all, the cover doesn't even have anything (even though i saw the movie in theaters). And secondly, they plaster Charlize Theron on there and give the entire movie away. (I would explain why she's there but i don't want to ruin it for the people who haven't seen it)

I agree with the Hancock cover. Downright ugly. A couple others that I don't really dig are 3:10 to Yuma and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Great movies, not so great covers.

Cast Away IMO sucks. Spider-Man 3 could have had a much better cover art but what they gave us was fine for what it is but, if you compare it to other covers it sucks.

And I still say that can't POSSIBLY be the for-real "Omen 1" cover--
You simply can't convince me that actually came from Fox, and wasn't just a really bad Photoshop fan-fakie.

The Pirates of the Caribbean series.

The actual artwork is fine, but the blue spines are hideous, and there isn't a good consistency with the covers (Curse had the Blu-Ray border, Dead Man's Chest had the border customized, and then At World's End doesn't have the border at all). It's a small gripe, but I like collections to look nice next to one another.

U.S. Blu-rays seem to be getting mediocre cover art in general. Check out the better cover art that the UK Blu-rays sometimes get.

Worst Blu-ray cover: 88 Minutes

Honestly, it looked like Al Pacino was doing a Jason Bourne-like pose on the cover!

P.S. And I also agree with you guys about "Hancock" as well. They should've just used the original poster artwork for that one!

I personally wasn't a big fan of the blu-ray cover of The Nightmare Before Christmas. I liked the VHS cover way better.
