Thanks for the info. Star Trek: TNG is pretty much my favorite piece of entertainment(and I'm not even a huge Trek fan) so I'd be very curious if anything good comes after the new movie.

If nothing else a few of the better episodes would be amazing, like Tapestry, Yesterday's Enterprise, Best of Both Worlds, Measure of Man, The Drumhead and All Good Things. Though I assume we'd only get releases done as full seasons - if I recall some of the DVD releases were theme specific - like the Picard set had a lot of great episodes.

Annnnnd....DON'T tell us, let us all guess:
The "poor sales" of the S1:TOS-HD Combos were blamed on "weak customer interest in the franchise" (and not troubled and rampagingly overpriced HD-DVD, which is holy and blameless because the company invested in it)....rrrRIGHT?

LMAO,

Almost took the words out of my mouth. I brought up this point with my coworkers. The "interest" would have been greatly increased if they would have GIVEN IT A PROPER DISC RELEASE!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Eric! One DVD, one HD-DVD at the time, and One BLu-ray set. Sales would have been double what they were. I can almost guarantee it. But NO. This came at a time when Paramount abandoned Blu-ray, rushed the already rushed and poorly equipped TOS-R team, and launched the only HD Trek on a now dead format. Way to go. Still no word on a Blu-ray release .

Aww so there may not be a Hi-Def Verson of Voyager with a Hi-Def 7 of 9??

I wish netflix had the TOS-Remastered SD DVDs of the 3 Seasons for rent?! I cannot find them anywere to check them out Commercial Free.

as for ST2 WOK I look forword to seeing it in HD on Blu. HDnet Movies was showing Star Trek 3 TSFS in 1080i
it looked pretty good but I hope the Blu Verson is Better.

i always thought it was a mistake to do startrek first
the movies would have been a better move.
as i said before it looks like thats gonna come true, movies first, then tv shows.
it makes sense with a movie due in 2009.

i would save up money for these discs as they will cost more, startrek always gets top dollar.who knows, maybe paramount has smarten up and give us fair price on startrek bds.....nah just kidding!
