Anyways, if they are going to release it to the mass public via QORE, they should just open it.

Sony is just trying to make some money before opening it all up, even though it is supposed to be a free service..

Where was that proven? Even if there are more people in Home (due to the theme download) that used Qore, that doesn't necessarily imply that there was preferential treatment. Out of the number of people that applied, a greater proportion could have downloaded Qore at some point.

It is a free service. Just because you can get in early through pay, doesn't mean the service to the general public isn't free.

Well, if this is anything like the "pay for Qore to get into the Resistance 2 beta" - HOME should be out a week after the "beta testers" get in!

If you pay for Qore and get the Home invite, it just means you'll be bored before the rest of us.

No.

The Home invite is for ANNUAL customers. So, you'd need to go buy the annual package now for a shot.

I know its free for the public, I was saying Sony is trying to milk it for some money before releasing it...

Played it at our playstation Reps Place... bored as Ass already.

maybe with the 1000's of new users who buy their way in, it'll be a bit more exciting?

Also the 2.40 incident kinda humbled me into being patient. The 2.40 thing didn't effect me thank god BUT it did kinda reminded me that good things comes to those who wait. So I'll wait for the open beta.

Yeah. Also I mean I don't get why people won't be patient. I mean I waited two years before I got my BD player(ala PS3) so a few weeks or months shouldn't really be that big of a deal to wait for anyway.

Oh and before you ask, the reason why I was waiting because I wanted to see which way the format war went. I didn't wanna be stuck with a dead format. So if I can wait for this, I can wait for the Home beta when it's free.

Nice... I still haven't read too much about HOME but I've heard comparisons to Second Life... either/or, it been my experience that the cyberworld is a relatively boring place to be and the LAST thing I need is something to make me sit on my butt more.

Especially after getting the R2 Beta
