Ok I've never set up a home theatre for so not sure if I'm doing it wrong or what but I don't feel my subs. I put my hand on it to see if there were any vibrations but I don't feel anything. I can feel a bit of rumble from my front speakers. I tested it with The Rock and Transformers bluray.
I connected it with a subwoofer cable using LFE. One from my subwoofer to my reciever. I used the section where it says DVD and all that stuff. There is another input that says "Preout" for the subwoofer. I'm not too sure what that is for. I got Polk Monitor 50's for my fronts. In my reciever it set my frequency to 80hz. When I went to go test the sounds in the sound calibration, I can hear my fronts but nothing comes out of my subs. Must be something I'm doing wrong? PS: PS3 is my bluray player. Do I have to set something in it for the subs to work? Last edited by Anhslaught; 10-27-2008 at 01:59 AM. |
