whats ur volume

i went to BB to chk out that demo for that $10 coupon. he showed a clip of "i am legend," he had a Pioneer elite reciever volume at -2 and it was loud but not as loud as i thought. eventhough the doors was closed and the space wasn't that big. just didn't seem loud enough. at home in my living room the loudest we go is -20 and thats perfect.

in my bedroom where my wife uses the system in their the most she has it at -17 and thats with smaller bookshelf size speakers. down in my basement i use a db meter thats sits at 90db and trust me thats beyond LOUD...
