And believe me, nothing says "The whimsy and biting satire of Jonathan Swift" than 20 minutes of office-slacker comedy...

(But who cares, Fox is going to release it at Christmas--or, as they call it, "National Alvin Week"--and make more money off of that one calendar date than they by rights deserve to.)

Really, cause it looked crap to me, the only decent joke was the star wars one and that's probably going to be cut out the trailer.

I have advanced passes for this Saturday morning? I'm debating to go or not. The film looks like it could be either good or absolute garbage... Thoughts?

I have found that Jack Black is usually horrible. But hey if you have free passes why not go?

If it were the similarly "Jack Black in goofy hi-concept slacker situations" Year One, you might feel overcharged.

I wouldn't take money to see him, let alone simply be let in free.

I dunno, but even though I don't care for Jack Black , I thought Year One was pretty good. Now Be Kind, Rewind is a totally different matter.
