Anybody else out there really enjoying Season 3 as much as I am? This has been the best season so far no question about it. I'm so glad that DirecTV was able to save this from cancellation as 3 has been a real step up and saving grace since the writers strike. So anyways who else out there is a fan?

I don't have directv so I have to wait until January to see it. However, I'd still take this over the cancellation that would have happened if directv hadn't partnered up with NBC. I read a lot of complaining from fans who aren't able to watch it now because of directv without realizing that it was going to be canceled without this.

I would love to say I'm enjoying it as well, BUT since I don't have DirecTV I don't get to watch it yet. I'm glad it didn't get cancelled as well but this is BS that we are having to wait like this.

Well you can always check the torrent sites, every episode is online if you do torrents. But otherwise if you gotta wait, you will really enjoy season 3. I'm just curious as if there is a season 4 what that means for most of the characters as almost all are seniors. The only two who aren't are the gorgeous Julie Taylor who is a Junior, and the new awesome freshman QB, JD McCoy.

Yeah part of the DirecTV deal is that while they will air the new season in the fall, NBC will still get the show back in Jan/Feb and will re-air Season 3 that was on DirecTV. I don't believe they have set a night or time yet, but hopefully they will ignore the fans complaints about putting this on Friday night, lol. because that was the reason the ratings where so bad. That is a death slot, and for some reason the biggest fan complaint was that Friday Night Lights wasn't on Friday nights. Seriously, watching TV on Friday night is the last thing I do.

Just started this show on Netflix Instant. I had been avoiding it for years because a show about football did not seem appealing, but I kept hearing from others that they felt the same but it ended up being a great show even if you aren't a football fan. Watched the first four episodes tonight with my parents. It's decent. I didn't care for it at first but it's getting better. Started getting better with the third episode I believe. Hoping it continues to improve. The football aspect is a bit boring.
