Yep, all 3 are seperate releases. Until they release a boxset for the holidays, #2 will then be released exclusively in the dance remix edition or whatever.

One of the problems is I like movies I can watch with other people. None of my friends/mom would watch this. At most I'll watch a movie two or three times by myself if I LOVE it.

I see me only liking this... probably just rent it.

Cant wait to get High School Musical 3 on Blu-Ray :> We already have 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray, so now just need the third to make the set (well the set with the fully original high school musical cast that is). And I would have to agree with others in this thread, HSM is a great movie to watch with friends, family etc. Well, except with the random HSM haters lol..

None of my friends even like musicals. A disney musical is hard to get them to watch =/.

Wow. It's really coming with the BD, DVD, and Digital Transfer? I mean, I know Sleeping Beauty came with the DVD too, and Wall E and Prince Caspian had Digital Transfer in the 3 Disc editions, but DVD too? Thats cool but kind of surprising lol

not really. it's their biggest film franchise right now. it's certainly the biggest movie of the year. for disney anyway. this movie is making money hand over fist. real competition for the dark knight.

The reason they are including the DVD, is because this is a kids film. Yes teens enjoy it too, but there are a ton of little girls who can't wait to get this, by including the DVD, it makes it easier for parents to go ahead and buy the Blu-ray. Rather than going with DVD, simply so they can watch it in the van or in their bedrooms.

Never seen and probably never will. However, I would have to think the Blu-ray would look alot better than at the theater.

I am baffled as to how to acces the BD-Live content on the disc without a BD remote. I use my PS3 and it's controller to watch BD movies and...can anyone help me out there? I don't see a link to it anywhere in the menus nor the yearbook section. Your help is greatly appreciated.

And in answer to your wuestion, yes, HSM3 does look great on Blu-ray and it sounds quite nice as well. It's not top-tier but it's certainly not a bad job. Worth the money if you're a fan.
