Finally, I was able to purchase mine from an FYE store but at 29.99 price, the most I've ever paid for a single-disc release.

That's really bizarre, since one of the BBs in my area had a placeholder card for it indicating that it was on sale at $24.99.

I guess I must have missed them last time. I think I've bought every JFK release to date except the current 3-disc DVD. Nonetheless, some of those scenes are interesting, and you can tell why others were left unused...

well the best buy that i speak of is in st. louis. pretty densely populated. i live about 25 mins outside of StL

yeah me too. i live in waterloo, IL and i work in belleville. anywhere around that area?

Farther east. Born in Mt.Vernon and went to school in Salem. Small, small towns. Used to go to Belleville quite a bit to see movies and go shopping though. Well Fairview heights technically. Always stopped at the Steak-n-Shake in Belleville after seeing concerts at Mississippi Nights and all those clubs on the Landing. Good times!!

thats awesome. i played mount vernon in all sports and im a team salesman at curt smith sporting goods, so i know right where you were at.

Same trouble finding it here in Arizona. An employee at Best Buy said it was not in stock in the entire state. Surely, a conspiracy.

I did manage to find it at Barnes & Noble. A great disc.

Looked for it at BB yesterday when I went to get WALL-E, but they still had no copies. I wonder what's going on with BB and this title?

i dont know what the deal is. i looked when i picked up some blus yesterday too. i finally went ahead and ordered it on amazon with prime yesterday and i should have it tomorrow.

Best Buy does some strange stuff when it comes to Blu catalog titles. My BB took months to start stocking Planet of the Apes (the Wahlberg one, not the recent release) and they have never had a single copy of either The Fly or From Hell which both released on the same day iirc. Now they don't have JFK. No rhyme or reason to it that I can tell. I'm just gonna order it from Amazon the next time I have to place an order.
