Body of Lies is a great movie. I have already purchased the BD; as I have had it preordered for some time.

I think it will make for a great Blu Ray.

I received my BD copy of Body Of Lies.

I feel that the movie is certainly the best movie I have seen to date regarding the current situation
we are in today with terriorism.

Can someone give a quick review of the Blu-ray, please? Never saw the movie, but am considering a blind buy of it. I like a lot of Scott's films, and this seems to be another great film. Is it anything like Blood Diamond, in terms of how the story unfolds and action scenes (not story, as they are on different subjects)?

Body of Lies was a blind buy for me, I really like it, I thought it looked interesting when it was in the theater, but it was getting mixed reviews? Some really good acting from DeCaprio and Crowe, which seems to be the norm from either one of them. I'm not a huge fan of either one of them but most of their movies are worth watching!

I only saw Blood Diamond once a while ago but I would say they are similar as far as action and the way the story unfolds, if you are looking for a Bourne or new Bond type movie with a lot of action this is not it.

Thanks. Although I am both a fan of Bounre and Bond, I am also a fan of slower paced movies that have a good plot with a sprinkle of action, like Blood Diamond. I think I'll buy this, as I've heard some great reviews from friends, here on the forums, and elsewhere.

It's slightly tinted but detail is as you'd expect. Sound quality is quite good. Over all, I liked Blood Diamond as well as Syriana better but this was pretty good.

I bought this Blu-ray on release day Tues. Feb. 17 '09. It's the only movie I've seen in 2008 that I gave 10/10. Saw it a second time with my brother and Dad and they both agree. I liked it better than Dark Knight.

It's my favorite spy action/thriller second to The Bourne Trilogy. There are similarities to both as well.
Both main actors speak (or try to speak) the local languages. Bourne (Damon) with French and German. Ferris (DiCaprio) with Arabic. It adds authenticity to the story line.
Both character's cross lines with women they fall in love with. Bourne with Marie. Ferris with Aisha.
I particularly like how there was a small romantic story in Body of Lies. It helped lift the stress and tone of the movie. I was impressed that Ferris' character courted Aisha according to the customs of the local Middle East area. Major points.

Three things I did not like about the movie. Criticism against America fighting war in the Middle East. I obviously disagree. The profanity and blasphemy (of course from Hollywood) and the graphic violence.

I really like this movie. PQ is very good and SQ is preety good but could have been more dynamic. I think it's funny that the took the part of the story that the book gets in name from out of the movie. Still a good movie.

I've actually never seen it. It came bundled with Three Kings in a two pack. I need the cover art so I can split it into two cases.
