I have this stand as well. The only issue I've had is my 46" LCD has leaned forward on the mount a little from the day I bought it. No one else really notices it but it irritates the crap out of me.

PooPantMan,

There are some high end and custom makers of rack systems that not only hold the equipment but also use materials and isolation systems to improve sound and video performance.

I am not saying that my example below is the best; it is one of the better or best. Adona Corporation uses granite platforms sandwiched with MDF using special adhesives. Each platform will support 300 pounds. But these are quite expensive (mine cost about $1800 plus shipping) and certainly not something that I would suggest or expect the usual member of this community to purchase:

I had mine custom made to my needs. Mine at this point is a one-of-a-kind based upon the center portion of the rack (does not include the racks to the left and right). It uses the adjustable columns and platforms, is quite rigid with 3 shelves high. It does not use their stackable rack system.

Until I move into my new home in the future, my 2 power line conditioners are on platforms beneath the rack and the center channel speaker is on a separate center channel speaker stand. All of my components except my Pioneer Kuro 50" TV are on special feet.

My digital components, my Pre/Pro, and Tuner will be moved to a separate rack, the 2 power conditioners will be moved up and the Center Channel speaker will be moved up to its shelf once I have the space.

Rich

I thought of that but figured the cocked bracket might look worse than the leaning tv. It would take about three washers on each side.

I see PooPantHead didn't last long. I can understand why, coming in here, telling me I'm buying crap, and that the equipment that I own is "bottom of the barrel".

Thanks to the mods for that one!

thanks, i was worried because it says 50'' max but the 52'' xbr weighs much less then the max weight supported and it feels sturdy on it.
