I have Mythos One's for my front, Mythos Three for my center, Mythos Four for my surrounds and Mythos Gems for my rears with a Supercube for my sub and it is great sounding system (at least to my ears). Very happy and no issues whatsoever.

I previously had Energy Veritas and find the Mythos sound to be just as good in my current environment.

Would highly recommend either Def Tech or Energy based on my personal experience.

Yup, my contribution to help our ailing economy is to get the ProCinema 1000 system, which is the best choice for an apartment as far as I can tell by the reviews and stats...

Thanks guys for the help. I swear I gotta stop this habit. Walk into a store thinking I'll pick model A (this case sm350s) then see Model B (Bp6) and think hey why not that one. Then go home to think about, then the devil on my left shoulder says "C'mon you can go bigger then that!" and half the time I listen to him. Then it's ramen noodles for a month.

I would agree to go with the mythos line as well. I used to sell the Def Tech lineup, and every customer that wanted the BP line, I would make them listen to the mythos line and they changed their minds. Getting a separate sub that is not built into the design of the speaker such as those will give you much better performance.

at 1000 a piece the mythos 1s are out of my budget. I just missed the sale on amazon where vans were selling the mythos 1,4, and 5 for 50-60% off. Think it was about 400 for a mythos 1. Anyway another reason why I'm leaning towards the smaller BP towers is because I just upgraded my procenter 1000 to a procenter 2000 about a week ago. I don't really want to upgrade the center again. If I must then i will though. I just want to make sure that whatever tower I decide on that it'll be a definite upgrade over my promontior 1000s. I would hate to upgrade and think "ehh, the promonitors were just as good."

You can't go wrong. My main home theater is all DefTech, except for the sub.

I was hesitant about built-in subs, too, but got the ST's anyway. As dedicated subs, they don't cut it. Setup as the low end for full range connection, they're some of the best speakers I've heard, at even four times the price (maybe Sonus Faber Cremonas are a tweak better, or something, but when i have a Ferrari to bring them home with, I'll own a pair).

But they're all good.

Hi guys it's me again looking for some advice. I may have found a buyer so it's time to upgrade and need to decide tomarrow. I currently have pm1000s in front and pm800 for surrounds. Those are going byebye. I am keeping the procenter 2000 and supercube I as well as a pair of 800. I need a front stage, and 2 side surrounds. Mythos although very good it is out of my budget. So my choices are bp6b for fronts and/or bpx maybe bp1.2x. Or bp7006 and bp1.2x for sides. The guy at the shop said that I shouldn't go with the 7006 since I have the supercube I and the 4.5in drivers will not sound as good as my pm1000s with 5.25in drivers. So I'm stumped. Please help me decide thanks.
