Dude you need MGS4. Seriously, maybe both games are must-haves, but MGS4 definitely comes first. You will not be able to put it down. MGS4 is outstanding on all levels, while LBP's best appeal is that it's best for all ages and allows you to explore your creativity.

i dont get the big deal about mgs4....i mean its pretty cool....but unless you have played 1-2-3 and loved them and the story...i dont think its the best.

i mean they gave it a 10...wow they gave gta iv a 10 too....lol personally i would rather play uncharted 100 times

agree with the first statement.

disagree with the second. never played a second of 1,2 or 3 and absolutely LOVED MGS4 and still throw it in fairly frequently in spite of have 4 new games within the past month i've bought.

you pretty much have a win win in your situation; either way you are going to come out with one of the best (if not the best between the two of them) PS3 games available today. whichever one you choose, i strongly encourage you get the second one shortly after

To the OP: I own both, I'm a HUGE Metal Gear Fan, that's why I love it so much. LittleBigPlanet, is awesome, online replay value is at a skyhigh!

Depends...do you have a girlfriend, roomates, kids, or wife? Do you like to share? Because once they lay their hands on LBP they won't let it go. That means no time to even play MGS4. I'm replying to this right now cause my wife is playing LBP

LBP is ridiculously fun, MGS4 is ridiculously cool.

Obviously you're going to be happy with either one, I mean they are two of PS3s must haves. I will say though that I am having loads of fun with LBP right now and loving it.

I am kinda leaning towards LittleBigPlanet now... I tend to invite many friends over who love playing party or multiplayer games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

Even though I picked MGS4, getting LBP for that reason makes a buttload of sense seeing as how there are parts of the game you need 2, 3, or even 4 people to get the goods. I know a lot of people find it sacreligious comparing MGS4 to LBP but only one of those games did I beat in record time (for me anyways) and that was the one I voted for. But I would also agree that MGS4 isn't like LBP in that it isn't as universally liked. You could call it an acquired taste.

I also say LBP because I mean whoever plays it with you loves it. You get your girlfriend or sister to play and they'll have loads of fun. Plus multiplayer helps you unlock a lot of things =]

Good choice. Now try to see if any local Radio Shacks have MGS4 for $19, and you can end up getting both.
