MGS4 not a PS exclusive anymore????

i don't give two monkeys if this were true, the one thing this game would cause for the xbox 360 are big problems, like people have said, about 50GB worth of problems or at least 41GB if you take out the 9GB storage space a DVD9 has.

I have to laugh at these rumours cause i know first and foremost the PS3 was what this game was MADE for. I think if anybody would be getting an inferior version, it would be the xbox 360. The PS3 was the LEAD platform for this game as was Devil May Cry 4 and thats why i know that we wouldn't be getting any inferior version.

I personally know where my money is best spent on when it comes to my gaming and a PS3 and the games that are released for it are where MY money is best spent, not on M$'s x-crap and all it's hidden charges

This interview is recent (1 or 2 days old). Koji pretty says MGS4 will stay PS3exclusive, and will never come to X-box 360.

Well, I'll just wait and see. The 360 might not have a BD-50, but you have to ask yourself - what is that space going to be used for? If it's just videos and speech, I can see them compressing it a lot to fit it on a DVD-9. Not an entirely desireable situation, but doable. Remember how Capcom somehow fit Resident Evil 2 on an N64 cartridge? I'm sure Konami could find a way if they really wanted to, even if it meant multiple discs. Graphics wise we'll have to wait and see about that, but don't forget that the 360 has three cores on its CPU - which is also multi threading.

Anyway, I really don't know why people are getting their panties in a bunch. You do notice the concessions that would have to be made if ported over to the 360, right? That means the PS3 version would be the definitive version. So there's nothing to worry about. As for that new interview with Kojima.. I still have to wonder why Kojima can't just go out and say it bluntly - MGS4 isn't coming to 360. He makes reasons why the version of MGS4 as seen on the PS3 won't be coming to 360, but he never says that there wouldn't be a watered down version for 360 in the future.

Here's a funny thing about "exclusives", I was watching a old review of Enchanted Arms for the X360 and the end of the review the guy said "Exclusive to X360". Well that's funny because fast forward to now and I have it in my hand for the PS3.

That's exactly how I'm approaching it. Exclusive for how long? Also exclusivity goes both ways - stuff on 360 will go to PS3 and vice versa. But really, the point is that the game would be designed with the PS3 in mind primarily, so that is going to be the best version. That's really how it should be, rather than creating for the lowest common denominator.
