Yellow Sea was pushed back to May 31. Forgot to update the new date.

In Yesasia, it states 'First Press Edition". It is not mentioned in K2DVD.com. Any idea what is the difference with the regular edition later on? In the picture, it doesn't look like a digipak. Or they just add a slipcover? Thanks!

I don't know why Yesasia is listing it as such. It should just be a regular blu-ray case and no slipcover (like the company's other release, "Curse of the Golden Flower").

Also K2DVD is shipping copies on 4/29.

Thanks for your quick reply! Maybe, Yesasia is just assuming on first press edition. Still thinking whether to order it in Yesasia (though few days delay) to save on shipping charge as I may add one or two CJ Entertainment Blu-ray to the order.

I ordered my copy of The Chaser from K2DVD. I've been ordering all my Korean releases from them recently. They're doing a pretty good job so far.

I've never used them, however, I have been meaning to try them out. Right now seems a perfect time to do so.

I'm interested as to which cut is going to be included on the blu-ray release for "The Yellow Sea" since Yesasia has two DVD listings for a theatrical and director's cut. CJ Entertainment seems to only include one cut on their releases as was the case with "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" and "Thirst" so maybe KD Media will follow them. I'm also wondering just what is left to be added in the director's cut. The movie is already 150+ minutes long!

Hmm, apparently, according to a DVD review on Twitch, most or all of the extras (including the two Audio Commentaries) were subtitled in English on the 2-disc DVD set. I wonder if KD Media will port the subs for the extras?

EDIT: Or maybe I was wrong and the reviewer is fluent in Korean. I can't tell.

He is fluent, and they aren't subbed in English.

The Chaser blu has been delayed until next month. 30th May.

Just watched The Chaser last night on Netflix. Excellent movie! I'm not sure why it wasn't on my radar before. It's too bad the Blu-ray has been delayed.

Can't wait to see a review for this one. Not pre-ordering on this one, I am just not taking any chance with this distributor since I don't recall seeing any of their transfer.
