When I was in my teens I got blazed with one of the guitarists from Iron Butterfly. A couple of years back I met and shook hands with Corey Beaulieu and Paolo Gregoletto from Trivium. They all seemed like pretty down to earth guys. Oh also, when I was a kid I met and shook hands with the stunt driver for the Batmobile in the Tim Burton version, I also got to sit in the Batmobile

I probably wasn't even alive when that happened, but that is frakkin' sweet.

I've met:
Ray Buchanan - Atlanta Falcons player, customer at a video store I worked at
Bob Burden - creator of Flaming Carrot, he took me out for a fun evening on my 21st birthday
Bruce Campbell
Ben Edlund - creator of The Tick
Penn & Teller
Dave Sim - creator of Cerebus
Oliver Stone
"Weird Al" Yankovic

Cool cats, all of them; but the coolest of all was Will Eisner. Creator of The Spirit and widely regarded as the father of the modern graphic novel, Eisner was a brilliant writer and artist. I met him a little over a year before he died and he was an extremely nice and gracious man.

I have a few good ones, lol.

Junk Yard Dog-wrestler (met way back in the day of WWF)
Kamala-wrestler (met at church he was preaching at)
Muhammed Ali- The greatest (met at the '96 Olympics)
Carrot Top-comedian (met at the gym recently)
Kevin Faulk- Pro Football (went to high school with)
Jake Delhomme- Pro Football (went to college with)
Jimmy Connors- Pro Tennis (ran into him at airport a long time ago)
Blair Herter- Host/cast on MTV (went to high school with)
and
Main Big Brother casts at a wrap party. Dozens... too many to list.

The two that I am surprised I have not run into yet is Shaq, and Angela from 'The Office'. Both are from my home area and I have always missed them.

My dad met Jay Leno years ago, and I swore I saw Louie Anderson (Family Feud) on my flight from Phoenix to LA.

I've met a few stars who were performing in Broadway Shows. Most notably Julia Roberts, Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman, Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane and Rebecca Gayheart.
I saw Chris Rock after a show that he did at VA Tech when I was in school there.
And I met Sarah Brightman a few weeks ago in DC after her concert.

Mel Gibson, while filming the Patriot. I was at a sorority formal in a hotel in Rock Hill, SC. Walked he to the bathroom and then stepped into the bar while she was in the facilities. There he was. Short, beard, with a couple huge dudes around him. I was practically the only one who noticed him. And of course, to impress the girl, wanted to introduce her... and I think I ruined his night....or maybe he bagged some sorority girls that night!

For you New Englanders, the Pats players seem to fly Southwest out of Providence (when not traveling with the team). I've been on planes with Bruschi, Maroney, Belechik, Welker, and Light. I fly quite a bit out of PVD, but still...I'm not a Pats fan, but there it is for those interested.

My AAU team beat a team with Joey Forte and Keith Boggins (back in the day), and I used to run a bit with Demarr Johnson (on the court).

Too Many to name but the ones that stand out for me are:

Alyssa Milano (Kuwait)
Kid Rock (Kuwait)
Gary Sinese (Kuwait)
Shannon Tweed (Kuwait)
Steve Martin (Kuwait, 1990)
Al Davis (Atlanta Airport)
Dustin Hoffman (Sat next to him at a Lakers Game)
Carlos Zambrano (Same plane flight fron Chicago to LA)

I could go on and on and on but I will stop now.

Hung out with Kiss guys Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick and the late Eric Carr at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco back in 1985. It was after they performed at the Cow Palace in Daly City. They were really cool, especially Paul, who bought my girlfriend and I a strawberry daqurie as we sat in the hotel lobby for about 2 hours and talked. Was about 6 feet from Gene Simmons as we rode up the same escalator, but he wasn't feeling well and stayed in his hotel room that evening. It was a dream come true, being the huge Kiss fan that I am. My brother hung out with Lemmy from Motorhead at a bar in Chico, California back in the 90's.

Lets see, I met all the members of The Flaming Lips through my teacher, who records all their albums. Also had drinks with the drummer, Steven Drozd. He told me his favorite drink was a double shot of wild turkey, so I bought us a round. My teacher bought us all a round or Irish Car Bombs as well. I got very drunk that night.

I met Peter Gallagher at a house we were doing the AV for, and I talked to him about Kaleidescape. That was kinda cool.

I also met Joe Perry from Aerosmith, also because my company did AV for his house. My coworker failed to introduce me though, and then proceeded to tell Mr. Perry the life story of the amp we were replacing until he started to fall asleep. I believe Joe just walked away in the middle of the guys story, and I laughed to myself a little.

um, I also saw Jerry Stiller at Stop & Shop, but he didn't look like he was interested in meeting any fans, and I didn't want to be a douche, so I didn't go up and bother him.

So that's the famous people I have met so far, hopefully there will be more in the future

Wow nice!! Followed the Pats all my life through good times and bad. What, no Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen! I've been waiting that relationship out for awhile. I could use a supermodel in my life to tell you the truth
