And probably is the reason prices are so high for blu-rays and games all over eBay now. This may have happened a while ago, between the summer and now, but its upsetting and ridiculous. It's BS for eBay to raise their rates like this when the economy is already doing so bad. They never treat their sellers with the same respect as the consumers.
I agree. I just found this out recently when I listed a couple of games/movies. Final value Fee is ridiculous.

Not really an auction site, but Amazon marketplace has been very good to me both buying AND selling. Ebay stopped being cool when people wanted warranty and guarantee's like they were buying from a brick and mortar store for someone's used stuff. That's were it stopped being viable to me, the little I did use it. I mean, I could put "gently used, like new, etc..," and people would be all in my grill with multiple questions and "I'd buy it if you offered a 12 month warranty", crap like that. "um, it's a used DVD player. If you want a warranty, buy a new one @ Wal-Mart".

Edit: Amazon also doesn't allow you to ripoff or be ripped off on shipping costs...they have default options, like standard is 2.99, etc...you can't enter in $15.00 for a DVD sent media mail...

I use eBay to hunt down random imports but lately I've noticed it just isn't worth it 90% of the time. I hate it; I lost contact with a friend in Japan that used to go to CD stores for me and snag all sorts of treasure. Now, if I can find it online at ALL it is so marked up that I might as well fly there myself!
eBay had this one set I'd been hunting for like $450! It retailed around $80! No!
