I agree, although I have read several posts where people have refused to buy the disk because of it.

I can't blame then. I've only rented it through Netflix. I rather spend my money on other Blu's that actually have faithful transfers.

Just receivged and watched The Day the Earth Stood Still.

It looked great and the audio was fantastic especially for a movie produced in 1951
