I have to chime in (if nothing more than it's just one more post to the next level!) and say thank you for the information, and I agree, the join date is much more beneficial in determining seniority or knowledge on the matter. Still, the cool, rare names are kinda snazzy...

I never paid much attention to the titles until I saw this thread.

Apparently, I'm not 'special' anymore. I'm now 'senior'.

I guess this means I can get off one short bus just to get back on another short bus. Wonderful.

I don't think Expert Member count is correct. I just clicked past 600 posts and I'm still a Power Member. Expert must be 700 posts by looking at other's post count.

not here but if you go on an HD DVD sight you most likely would be an expert there, they tend to act like a bunch of chimps (or is that chumps)

LOL, so true. There was someone who signed up recently, someone I knew from another forum and have a great deal of respect for. And his title was, of course, "junior member". It felt really wrong following up to his post as a "expert member" myself.
