Pulp Fiction has been released on Blu-ray in the Netherlands. It's region free and good for import, but it has some noticeable DNR and edge enhancement. Wonder if the U.S. release will have the same transfer?

i noticed clips of bad boys on one of those blu ray movie previews....

pulp fiction is a must have for me!

Sony's been running promos on their discs for Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle and Bad Boys II for 2 years running.

I do think we'll see Pulp Fiction on Blu-ray in 2009 since it's the 15th anniversary and as a marketing tie-in to Inglorious Bastards, but a promo don't mean squat.

Pulp Fiction is from a Disney Studio,not Sony so hopefully we don't get the shaft like we had with Bad Boys.

On this note, wasn't Pulp Fiction BD announced along side Jackie Brown as "coming soon"? If that was the case, do we know if Jackie Brown is still set for a BD release?

It was said to have a January release about a couple of months ago but I am not sure why it never materialized

That'd be great if Jackie Brown was coming too! Although I'm not getting too excited about either, considering For a Few Dollars More and Guns of the Navarone were announced as two of the very first titles to come out on Blu and they're not here yet.

Pulp Fiction and probably Jackie Brown, the last two Tarantino ones that haven't been released on Blu-ray should be coming around the time of Ingenious Bastards opens in theatres, which I think is next fall. That's according to the Alliance/ Universal (which releases for Miramax/ Weinstein and New Line for the moment) rep at the store I used to work at.

Also, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown are both Disney/Miramax where Inglorious Bastards is being released via Universal...I don't know if Disney would release stuff to coincide with a Universal release.

Since we haver no cover art on any sites etc or detailed specs I would call this Blu Ray of BRAVEHEART delayed.

Someone on the forums on hidefdigest posted that Pulp Fiction will be released in the US on August 4th. Not sure how reliable that poster is but he did post it as though he has solid information.
