BB here is decent, and they always have tons of open item deals. In fact, I try and make it there once a week to see what I can find. They were putting it all together for awhile, but now it's all with the regular merchandise, you just have to look for the "Open Item" sticker on it. I saw some on remotes some weeks back, but didn't start reading about these until recently. Rock on Ohio!!!

Thanks in advance.
On my 1000, you can also controll each device separately and I am sure you can with most of the Harmony remotes

I agree with everyone else! I have the Harmony 520 and love it! I even control my PS3 via Blu Wave!

I finally ordered a Harmony One! I got tired of using 5 different remotes...plus my fiancee was always getting confused with all the remotes!

I was torn between the 1000 and the One. I was wanting the 1000 more for the "cool" factor, although i'm sure it's a great remote. But i did see many reviews about the 1000 having a slow and choppy interface...The ONE seems to make more sense since it'll be easier to hold with one hand and it does have a touch screen just like the 1000. I Also got the the blu wave PS3 remote so i can use the ONE for everything and eliminate all my remotes!

My PS3 was the one device holding me back from getting the Harmony sooner. It didn't make sense dropping all that cash on a remote that couldn't control all of my devices. The blu wave was a small price to pay if it works as well as people say...

None work with the PS3 since it doesn't have RF. But there are devices that can give the PS3 RF control. Some better then others. A cheap solution would be this one http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-3-Blu-Wave-Remote/dp/B000R5H7KE

You still won't be able to power on or off from what i've read. Not a big deal for me.

None of them work with the PS3 because the PS3 uses Bluetooth for the remote/controller signal, whereas the Logitech harmony remotes only work with infrared devices. There are solutions for this, ranging from the cheaper PS3 Blu Wave remote that comes with a USB dongle that transmits an IR signal, thus letting the Harmony work that way. Two downsides is that it doesn't work unless the PS3 is on, and it has a pretty bad response time (I tried it and got my money back). Then there's the more expensive PS3toothfairy which works really well. It's about the size of a book of cards and it converts the IR signal to Bluetooth so that the PS3 will recongnize it. However, as I said, it costs way more. The fully working model is 89.99, and there's a cheaper 64 dollar model that requires that you take out the Blue-tooth chip from your existing Sony PS3 Blu-ray remote and then screw the top on it. I'm buying the latter as I already have the Sony PS3 remote. Might as well save the money.

Here's the link to the PS3toothfairy: http://www.ps3toothfairy.com/

They're currently sold out but the seller said there will be more in stock this week.

Sonny, what else do you have to buy to control the lights? That sounds really cool.

...anyways, there is an "Activity" button to control the different activities...but there is also a "Device" button for complete control over specific devices in your system.
+100. This is exactly why I bought the 880 for my home theater room - so my wife and son could operate the system without me. It works great for making things easy, and I highly recommend it.

If you search around online, you can find good deals on the 880.

According to every review I've read thus far and every post I've read, it responds just as well as a regular PS3 remote/controller. I'm buying one the moment I see they're in stock, so I'll let you know how my experience goes. To put it simple, I haven't read a single bad review for it. Nothing but satisfied customers. Here's the AVS forum for it; be sure to read all of the praise:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1019556

FYI: Aymanme is the main seller. It's him and one other guy that distributes them.
