Is it expensive to have someone come in and calibrate subs?

You'd be better off.... given your space, to buy an SPL meter, and try to rough it in yourself.

Also, I know there are places (Stargate Cinema for one) that carry packets of "ready to go" popcorn made for kettle machines..... you can also purchase the exact butter, and warming machine from them too.

I'd look it up, you'd be amazed at how serious people take their movie-theater popcorn
