You can have mine...slipcovers are the most worthless and annoying things about DVDs and blu-rays.

Yup, they will... anything to make things harder for the paying customer

Just buy another and return it without the slip-cover... it's that simple. Saying it didn't work will cost Paramount money, if anything stick it to Worst-Buy since they didn't sent it.

BTW: I LOVE slip-cover but they are kinda a pain...

sorry, but I have not seen or read any "countless threads" about slipcovers. Next time send me a memo. Always an azzhole that think everyone knows what he knows.

If I throw them away why in the hell would I be reading threads about keeping them. Now I know many people like to keep them.

Bingo. They're totally dumb and I just throw all mine away -- EXCEPT if the back of the case doesn't say squat about the movie or features (like Transformers). I think they're for people with OCD, but if they really take a hard look at their collection, it looks weird when a fraction of their cases have slip covers and the others don't.

Now I am glad I have avoided the "countless threads" about slipcovers. Too many people are anal retentive about pictures on cardboard.

I had a dent in mine, but when I took it back I just told them it had a dent and I want a good one. Exchanged it, no prob. They aren't out to make a customer mad, they want, no need, your business and they want you to keep coming back to their store. I know how it is, I was a supervisor there for 3 years, management would tell us to keep the customer happy within reason. Just tell the it didn't have a slip and you want it, worst case is they give you a slip from a new one and devo the sealed one from the shelf.

(that wasn't directed at you, GGX. just a general reply.)

The big difference between the Iron Man slipcover and many others is the BD information is ONLY printed on this slipcover. So this would be a case where you wouldn't want to toss it out.

I like them - all that matters. Have you been under a rock. Aftermarket, custom wheels, tuning and custom personilization and mods is huge -see here - www.e55amg.com/SEMA2007.html . I also sell the stuff. Some custom rims increase performance if lighter in weight by reducing unsprung weight on suspension and the ability to use wider performance tires. Plus there are no other OEM wheels that fit my E55. It would be crazy and a poser to put OEM S-Class, SL or CL rims on a E-Class. A completly stock car is boring. There are 31 custom rims for my car listed at www.tirerack.com and not one of them is OEM.

What you driving?

Nope, not under a rock. Just prefer OEM over crazy after markets.

I have an S600 Guard. Black on black.

Cool! that's your choice. I would not put lighter weight non OEM rims on an armored bullet proof vehicle either as that defeats the purpose. Many do like a stock look. There are many crazy wheels out there but a 5-spoke 2 piece lightweight design is not really over the top (IMO).

Some look good yes, but most are over the top and make the car look like crap. Your suppose to enjoy the car, not the wheels.
