Saw the trailer for this on one of my blu-rays and was pretty impressed. I was also amazed that I had never heard anything about it before! I'll definitely give this a watch, but I'm skeptical on it being better than Bourne.

amazing movie. probably one of the few movies that sidestuck me last year. as mentioned, the storyline is simple, but the execution was definitely what caught me on this.

definitely his best role and could be considered the more 'mature' jason bourne character so to speak.

I just saw it today and I know already that it's going to be in my top 5 favorite films of 2009, maybe even topping it off as #1. Of course, I saw the unedited version. I sure hope that they didn't take to much out of the American PG-13 version.

I just watched him in Love Actually on UHD last night and then I saw the trailer for Taken......the man can act! I'm looking forward to this. If they do water it down for American theaters I'll just wait for the unedited blu.

Yeah, there are some really awesome scenes that I know are left out of the American release. Darn the MPAA.

I as well saw what I believe is the unedited version of this movie, completely badass from start to finish. This is definitely one of my favorite movie I have seen in along time. It is well put together until the last 10 min a few things just happen so quick without any knowledge of what happened but it sums up the events extremely well. A cool kinda twist on a movie that hasn't been done all too often I would say. Very awesome action and story though. See this movie in theaters and support it! I just hope they don't rape it in the PG-13 version.

Okay, well now this movie's finally getting some attention. I saw this, like, 4 months ago. It's been out for almost a year in Europe.

Yea I noticed the Blu-ray is already on pre-order i believe in UK......kinda crazy but the previews look sick as hell....

I'll probably see this movie because I like Luc Besson's action movies. The trailer looks cool, but it reminds me too much of a Ransom/Bourne mash-up ripoff for me to totally buy into it.

Its been released in France already, however not surprisingly, its region-locked.

Of course this is going to be better than the Bourne Identity. Taken seems to have the intensity that was stripped of the Bourne Travesties, which should have been great films had the original drama and intrigue that was a critical part of the Ludlum novels been retained.

I've been seeing previews for it on tv. It looks good and Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors. Isn't that Maggie Grace (Shannon on Lost) playing his daughter? It sure looks like Her with dark hair.

Yes it's her from Lost. Just watched the trailer and this movie looks very interesting. I'll definitely go the theaters to watch it.

Are you a Bond fan? Because The Bourne films were the greatest and most captivating spy genre movies. IMO.

bourne > taken

but man taken was still an excellent movie. the scene where she is taken is so intense!

kinda sucks they're showing the whole movie in the trailer tho
