Plus from what I've been seeing, it looks like Alliance is preparing some rereleases of some older titles, which probably means a number of those ones will be converted from simply being the American release (with a small sticker on the back saying "released by Alliance") to being those ugly billingual covers (which have the French versions on the backside, making it very annoying considering the cases are see-thru).

I bet like Nightmare on Elm Street it will be region locked!! Alliance own the rights to New Line Releases in Canada which means they have to region lock titles because Warner have rights elsewhere in the world.

www.axelmusic.com have the back cover on their website. They have stated region A but havent tested the disc yet. It's also bare bones, just the movie.

I'd say give it a few days for confirmation. Alliance put out Sin City and From Dusk Till Dawn, both region free. I hope this follows the pattern.

Right on! Thanks for the pics. I may run out and get Constant Gardener. Very odd how most of the Alliance releases have no extras, yet Constant Gardener does! I am thinking now that I may not get Hostage (not because it states 1080i - which is probably a typo), but that its 1.78:1. The film should be 2.35:1. Can you confirm this?

Okay thanks. My guess is the image is opened up & not cropped. Maybe once these go down to 12.95 I'll pick it up. Where were you able to get so many copies of Freddy vs. Jason, amazon.ca? Best Buy & Future Shop don't even list these yet.

Looking at the back cover here, it doesn't seem so.
