Marisa Tomei: Why isn't she a MegaStar? - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

This is a very good question. Could it be that she is selective with the movies that she stars in meaning she goes for quality and not the big blockbuster types? It seems that actors who go for the smaller quality films are somewhat low key. I think she is beautiful and very talented.

It's a good question. She definitely has the look and talent.

It begs the other question of "How in the World does _________ have a successful movie career when they suck?"

I often wonder about how the world doen't get a lot of Marisa Tomei but gets more than enough Shia LaBoeuf.

Like Daniel Day Lewis, dude does one movie like every 5 years but when he makes one its always AMAZING. I have a higher respect for actors like this than ones like SLJ who play in every ****ing movie made.

maybe but I cant stand him the only movie of his I will watch is Pulp Fiction thats it

Or he is greedy and knows he has star power due to Pulp Fiction, I cant really think of anything else I like him in...other than Boondocks lol.
