At least he's being honest about them being bootlegs. I had myself a bootleg set of the DVD's back in the day because lucas wasn't releasing the DVD's for stinking ages

This is a screenshot of what was released, so I'm guessing the movies aren't in real 1080p (only 1920x816p although I guess that's just because they took the black bars away) and I read it only uses 5.1 AC3 audio at 384Kbps. I'm sorry about the warez talk.

I can't believe ebay would let these go on. I have seen a lot of auctions pulled for being bootlegs and not saying they are. Here they are admitting it. You would think that ebay has some sort of checking software that won't allow certain words or trigger them to be checked. I used to see a lot of bootleg auctions for Buy it now because ebay would pull them before they ended.

Hi There I Purchased A Set Of These Sets And Believe It Or Not Ther Are In True Hd And Not From A Tv Broadcasting, I Asked A Few Questions To The Seller First And Apparently They Come From Finmere Market Near London, But The Guy Who He Was Getting Them From Has Now Moved On So Unless Someone Else Starts Selling Them On Ebay Thats It For Now.
But Overall I Am Erxtremely Satisfied With The Quality Etc And My Ps3 Reads It As 1080p And The Sound Is Amazing, Only Thing Is They Are The Special Editions With The Added Bits.
I Tried To Order Another Set For A Friend But He Has Assured Me There Are No More Availble

i still would question how "good" they are or if theyre truly 1080p and truhd regardless of why the player or tv says. you can force 1080 even if its not. if my google search has done me right, my understanding of Finmere Market is like a flea market here in the states. flea markets here sell googles of bootleg items from audio tapes to cds and dvds (now blu ray). heck, even some "legit" retail stores carry bootleg. id still would stay away till official release.

my guess is he or she had the cable tv hd versons and maybe they had a blu-ray burner then did a backup. if so those would be 1080i.

I think the real official blu-ray version's will be way better than want's on tv now. when Mr. Lucas "Feels Ready" to do them.
