I know, but for me anything short of that will not make the PSP much more appealing to me (unless its 2 months, lol).

Seriously, I know what you mean about how cool would it be to be able to use your PSP with your PS3 more, but until really anything happens or another game comes out, my PSP is collecting dust.

And in my defense you did ask why we weren't responding.

Sony Ericsson have just put a 3.5" version of this in a phone apparently, 640x360 capacitative touchscreen OLED (supposedly, but my money is on resistive LCD and there has been a miscommunication somewhere).

Default Sony Considers Adding Downloadable Comic Books To PSP Store

http://exophase.com/psp/sony-conside...tore-10590.htm

Quote:
Sony is considering to sell digital versions of comic books and graphic novels over the PlayStation Store on PSP, if a recent survey conducted by the company is any indication.

The survey brought up general questions, such as how much users would be willing to pay per comic, or if they’d be willing to opt into a subscription service. That means access to all comics on the store in exchange for a flat monthly fee.

Provided alongside the survey was a marketing brief showcasing how this supposed comic book section would integrate with the PlayStation Store. Different view modes are explained, such as “auto-flow” which jumps across sections of a comic page in sequential order. Also depicted was an interface for fast-switching between different comics.

Might this all be making an appearance in a future firmware update? Maybe. Expectedly, Sony was quick to point out that this video clip is just a mock-up, but it looks as if they’re seriously considering to add it. See for yourself after the break.

I might be wrong but doesn't Sony already sell digital books and comics on their e reader? Putting them on PSN Store makes sense as Sony is looking to make PSN really a big part of their plans and it's already rumored to have a music download service coming, so an e-reader store would make PSN more complete.

E-reader with PSN access confirmed?

Seriously though, now that Kaz has taken over expect PSN to be integrated into anything that has got internet access (TVs, Blu-ray players, phones, Walkmans etc...) though just not the complete PSN store that we get on PS3.

That would be sweet actually, I almost bought a Sony e-reader for my sister as a birthday gift last year since she travels a lot for work.

Actually it would be funny to me if they released the e-reader shop before the video shop on PSN in EU, the internetz rage would provide great lulz moments.

Speaking of Kaz, he seems enthused about PSN and its possibilities, at least that's what I can tell from every interview I read. They should do something about the store.playstation.com, in order for me to just be nice, I'll just say it sucks.

A recent survey seeks consumer interest in a PSP game rental service. With the PSP Go all but confirmed a possibility and UMD on its way out, a PSP that takes full advantage of the digital age and the PSN doesn't exactly sound like crazy talk. Plus, there's always going to be a rental market, so why shouldn't Sony take advantage of that?

Depending on the terms and price, the idea of a direct rental service sounds like a potentially cost effective option for gamers during these hard economic times. Should it ever come to fruition, that is.

I'd probably play more games if there was a more convenient rental option like this.

I'd play stuff like Bionic Commando (PS3) if there was a download rental option.
