Interesting there's just the one three-pack pending (so far), #3: Moonraker, The World Is Not Enough and Goldfinger. Presumably #4 will appear this time around as well.

So, looks like amazon is getting at least these 3 steelbooks this time.

I want my 'Goldfinger' in a steelbook to match my previous Bond Blus, but I'm a little hesitant to order it from Amazon because I can't be sure that it'll arrive free of dents and other imperfections. With the previous releases, I had to go through a LOT of copies at BB before I found ones that were in perfect shape.
Somehow I doubt it, since amazon is ALSO offering the supposedly Exclusive Best Buy Steelbook editions of the first 6 releases. And oddly, lists Dr. No as an "Amazon Exclusive" as well. Someone at either amazon or Best Buy doesn't have their facts straight, because these are obviously not so exclusive after all.

I would be VERY surprised if these aren't available at Best Buy (Future Shop for me, being in Canada...exact same editions though). The Bond films are actually among the few I'm actively seeking out in the Steelbook editions. Just something about it suits Bond really well...kinda like having each movie in its own little spy movie briefcase or something.

Imagine that; someone from France complaining about SteelBooks being region locked... I would be thrilled if we had half as many Steels as you guys do...

Hehe I wasn't complaining, since I'm not a huge James Bond fan. I just think I would've imported them if they were region free.

You're right, although... we might have SteelBooks but first you need to actually look at all the films we have in SteelBook... not that many are appealing, at least not to me. And secondly, those releases are bare-bones and impose French subtitles over the original track.

I thought 6 Bonds are being released, in addition to Quantum of Solace, on March 24th:

1) Goldfinger
2) GoldenEye
3) License to Kill
4) The World Is Not Enough
5) Diamonds Are Forever
6) Moonraker

Why would they only do half in Steelbook? Or do you think Best Buy will get the other 3 in Steelbook?

Until or if these are announced to be available in stores as well, I'm putting in a pre-order. You can always cancel it later if you want. And this way, I'm guaranteed to get these in Steelbook.

Future Shop = owned by Best Buy. Ever notice we get all the BB exclusives as FS exclusives?

Seems to be that only 3 have been "officially" announced thus far, even though most of use have known what the 6 titles would be since December. I would think that once the titles are made official, we'll hear about the rest of the Steelbooks.

Default Amazon Goldfinger steelbox? EXCLUSIVE

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PO6KO0

Wow. I can't believe Amazon.com will have an EXCLUSIVE steelbox release of the James Bond 007 movie, Goldfinger. Didn't Best Buy have exclusive steelbox packaging for the first six Bond blu-rays? I wonder if all of the next six Bond blu-rays will be in Amazon exclusive steelbox packaging?

Those are not sold by Amazon. They are BestBuy exclusive Blu-ray SteelBooks that are being sold second hand through private sellers. So I would really be surprised if the new Bond Blu-ray SteelBooks were also available at Best Buy.
