I think we're sort of saying the same thing. The price you see is what you pay, but the price you see is in USD. Therefore, with today's exchange rates and CC commission fees, to calculate what you truly end up paying, you have to take the price you see, add on the shipping (taxes if they charge it) and then to that total add another 25% or more for exchange.

So for example, if FutureShop is selling a BD for $24.99, and Inetvideo has the same disc on their website for $19.99, you're actually cheaper to buy from FutureShop, despite the seemingly higher base price.

When I bought Doomsday and Rush Hour 2 it was: 14.99 US for Doomsday and 9.99 US for Rush Hour 2, that was $24.98 and shipping was $5.45

Total I was charged was $30.43 US and that was all I was charged by them. My bank then tacked on 30 cents for the foreign fee.

It may be more slightly more for Canadian customers...I'm based out of the US.
