Yea, I can vouch for the customer service also. I am lucky enough to not have had the need to deal with them in the past but one of my friends ordered a spindle of blank media once and a bunch of the discs were defective. He called them up and they sent him another spindle for free along with some coupon codes to use for his next purchase no questions asked. That's pretty awesome considering the return policy on blank media is No Returns and No Refunds if it is opened.

Anyway, back to the shipping of products, I ordered the Polk RM6750 speaker set a month ago and it shipped in it's original box with a UPS sticker slapped on it. I ordered it on Saturday and it came in on Monday with the free 3 Day Guaranteed UPS delivery.

Anyway, Sirius389, I wouldn't worry too much about your speakers. Someone mentioned you're in New Jersey so you should get them really fast if you order early in the day. Also, if anything is wrong with your order I'm sure Newegg will take care of you without much stress. Enjoy your speakers! I want either the CS1 or CS10 so you better report back and let us know how they are!

oh yeah i knew you weren't slamming newegg

i just wanted to correct a prior statement of mine because after reading your post i decided (imo) newegg's customer service was actually slightly better than amazons (and i still think amazon's is top notch), but that can depend on which company you interact with more

They ship from Tennessee too, apparently. That's where my RAM is coming from.

and somewhere outside of Memphis

If your stuff ships from CA, it will take the full 3 days+ to get them. If your stuff ships from Edison - next day most likely. Tennessee - 2-3 days.

The problem with shipping isn't Newegg, it is UPS. Those guys have a history of playing ding-dong ditch when they have heavy equiement to drop and try to make you pick it up. I've been fortunate, they haven't done that to me yet (but when something big is coming, I usually find a way work from home and I leave the door open with the storm door closed).

The less it changes trucks, the less damaged it will become. UPS 3 day is glorified ground...they use trains where they can to get things cheaply across country.
