alot of tv shows first couple episodes are really! really bad sopranos, brotherhood, weeds exc. exc. that first season is a great season I just wish we could get it with some PCM and redone video

The first season of The Sopranos on DVD is not mastered well. The 2nd season gets better, as well as the third. The 4th and 5th were mastered in HD so they look the best out of the DVDs.

You have to remember that the first season was released on DVD 8 years ago so DVD mastering has greatly improved since then.

yeah I think vhs was still the thing when s1 came out on dvd

The other DVD seasons don't look nearly like that, I really don't know what was up with the 1st one.

Yeah I have it and noticed that too. My father even asked me what was wrong with the picture since he watches Blu's every time he comes over.

Still watching, have to catch up on the episode from Sunday night. I know it's gotten better because I'm not forcing myself to watch anymore!

I got into this show a few weeks ago and I'm glad I did. As for premium cable channel TV shows go, I would put it below Dexter and Californication.

However, this week's episode was pretty good. I don't want to spoil anything but I hate how they end with such a cliffhanger EVERY episode. This week's wasn't as bad as last week's, but it was still intense.

Yeah, and Rogue's (.)(.)'s you see. But barely. It doesn't make up for the fact that you have to stare at her gap tooth for the other 55 minutes a week
