All are great movies...but if you want something different from your typical drama/action movie...bladerunner or Sincity. Personally, I would go with Sin City. I think you would get more out of that movie as it's different and not similar to anything I had ever seen before.
Rotten tomatoes: Sin City - 77% Blade Runner - 91% Man on Fire - 39% (Which is bull in my opinion, as I think it is a great movie) Either way, you can't go wrong with either. Flip a coin?? ![]() |

Blade Runner.
Blade Runner is considered a classic. I highly doubt the other two will ever be considered classics. |

Since Man on Fire is not a blind buy. I assumed U do not like it enjoy to just buy right out. I said rent the other two (Blade Runner, Sin City) decide from there. If time is factor to use the credit now, I would choice Blade Runner myself. All three are great movies.

Blade Runner was lame and boring. Sin City is much better.

If I were you I would rent those movies first, don't just blind buy. Like in my case, I have never seen Blade Runner before but a lot of people on here have nothing but praises for it. So I was sure I would buy it, but I rented it just to make sure it was worth the money, and I did not like it at all.

It's not even got a USA release yet. Go for Bladerunner now and get Sin City when they get a USA release out there. I'm not intimately familiar with Man on Fire, but if you've seen it before, then there's not gonna be anything new or fresh for you there. Bladerunner having the most extras ever doesn't hurt its case either. Renting movies is just a waste. If you're already going to buy it, just buy it and don't throw money into the abyss of rentals. |
