Great news, thanks Bolt! Theatrical and the Alternate Cut (just like King Kong), that should please everyone! Great trend, including both versions...

if i waited 2 years to get a ps3 i can definitely wait 3 months for sin city

I agree that it is great to see both versions on here. The MAJOR difference between Kong and this is that this will at least have all of the special features whereas Kong did not.

Sin City down... now how about From Dusk Till Dawn??

was the spirit really that good? i didnt see it in theatres because i heard it was bad, like really bad, so i decided to wait till it came out and give it a rental

Gonna sell my Sin City and buy this. This would for sure be way better than my version with the two different cuts and all the extras. All i need now is an updated version of From Dusk till Dawn and Reservoir Dogs.

Great news for those who held off on the import.

I have no regrets. Alliance's release was top notch, as far as PQ/AQ is concerned. The additional scenes werent anything to write home about anyways.

Wow look at that price tag! Those extras aren't worth it for me. I bought the Canadian version for less than half that price.

The $35.99 is the MSRP, surely on release day it will not be as much

There was never a need to import the Canadian one since we knew Disney would release this in the near future. Also, you figured when they did that they'd release a jam-packed Special Edition with both cuts of the film.

It's no more expensive than any other title on the market. It'll probably be $22.95 on release day on Amazon. Then a few weeks later it'll be about $15 in the marketplace.

I'm just assuming they haven't seen The Spirit either. It failed miserably at the theater. I would expect it to be released before Sin City is in April. Heck, I don't see why it isn't included with Sin City as a bonus. Seems to be the only way many people would watch it. I know I have no interest in it.

debating whether to hold out for this version or stop by my local Futureshop and pick it up (CDN FOR THE WIN!) i have the extras from the SD DVD, not sure I need to double dip THAT hardcore just for extras I already have. this is great news tho!
