Watch out with the tamper, it can bust your pavers if you're not careful.

Looks like it's gonna be a winner when you're done.

i was contemplating using it but think i'm gonna decide against it. will just make sure none move too much and will use that compound/joining sand for the cracks when it's done.

can't wait, hopefully i can get done 2morrow and break it in w/a good getting drunk party!!!

thanks dude!!!

here it is in all it's finished glory!!! my next project is wiring up the lights and building the pillars which you can see where they'll be in this picture.

and here's a close up of the pattern:

5 colors and 3 sizes in each color. in the whole thing no 2 colors are touching!!! my wife went and ordered the block from the place which is right across the road from us, showed them the picture and pattern we wanted and told them we wanted all 5 colors and all 3 sizes. the guy looked @ her and said only professionals do that pattern w/that many colors and sizes!!!

NOT ANYMORE NOW THAT BENNY IS A SEASONED PATIO LAYER!!!

kinda thinking about going into the masonry business!!!

it's a lumber factory. then right next to it is a concrete plant, that's where all of the block and rock is from.

so our house project kicked off last weekend officially and we are in the middle of a huge f'ing mess!!! me & my wife stayed home on monday and ripped all of the siding and 1/4" insulation off, took all of the tin siding and aluminum trim work to a steel plant in town and made $150!!! our building permit costed $100. if we got a dumpster and put all of the siding into it, the dumpster rental would've costed $250. so not a bad deal.

now for the pix.

here are some before and after shots of our breezeway on the west side of the house. before we ripped the walls out, there was 1 anchor holding the wall to the foundation and about a 1 1/2" gap between the foundation and wall bottom on the side closest to the house!!!

my old man helping clean up:

and with the door in:
