gtmorgan23, I have that same system, bought them from Amazon and I love them. You take a look at my pics. Excuse my shaking hand when taking the pics for the TV, but the effect of the lights you will see adds a very nice dimension when watching TV....they are a really good investment, made well and they are a solid company, in my opinion. My 4 yr old loves em too....Christmas everyday according to her!

thanks for the info, they are only like 29 dollars right now on amazon and that just seemed kinda cheap. I wanted to make sure before I bought them that they werent junk. I figured two 9" strips would be enough, because I do must of my late night tv watching in total darkness. What have you found to be the best color to watch tv with?

$29.00 !!!! I won't tell you what I paid one month ago for my 15" Media LED Lightbar Set, but it was well over $100 more than that price (plus I added an extra 2 lightbars for a total of 4). Anyway, I have found the darker shades work the best. I prefer blue, but light blue and purple look good too. I can't stand green and the reds, oranges and yellows are OK. It does help the eyes if you watch movies for long periods of time, plus it just looks cool! Cyron is one of the best for these lights, and I would stand by their product.

Thanks for the link, time to sit down soon and give it a read.

well it is 29 dollars for the two 9 inch sticks, so that is probably why they are so much cheaper than yours

What size TV will you be using this on? I'm thinking of picking the 9" kit up for $30, but my TV is 50" and I don't know if this will suffice. Can you post your thoughts once you get the kit hooked up?

Most people seem to be using colored lights which might look cool, but don't have near the same effect of using the recommended 6500K white. The articles i've read suggest something in the range of 10% of the brightest white you will see on your screen at any given time.

View that post right here!

BTW - I also have the dioders for Ikea. They are in my TV stand. They are not very bright so I wouldn't suggest them unless your TV is wall mounted and, even then, I don't think they worth it for the price.
WOW that looks so good i am thinking about doing this with my setup

Was looking at these: http://www.amazon.com/Cyron-LED-Ligh...7170698&sr=8-2

It is the cyron six pack. it does not say anything about being an expansion. I am looking to put a set behind my bedroom tv that is going to be wall mounted in the next week. I really only need 4 but if I could put the other 2 in another room then I would look into this set.

Can any help? I am sure someone here posted something.

The cords for each bar is 15 feet ! All six bars have to be plugged into the same
central control unit for them to work ! Another room is not going to work .
